Thesis Title: Visualization of Interface Metaphor for Software: An Engineering Approach
Sponsor: Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC)

The objective of this research is to develop an engineering process for visualization of interface metaphor, so as to design the user experience, as part of software development lifecycle. The main highlights are dissection, pre-facto analysis, quantitative and qualitative evaluation, cognitive and remote usability testing of interface metaphor.

REMARKS
ON ARTICLES
DR. DONALD NORMAN: Very funny. I like that. User Inexperience. A wonderful concept.

DR. BEN SHNEIDERMAN: Your writings are important as they help spread interest in our field... and raise awareness of the importance of usability.

AARON MARCUS:
I have for a long time thought that India and China might produce new applications that derived their metaphors from local culture/history/literature. Your article points the way.

DR. VLADIMIR AVERBUKH:
I may conclude that your works are very interesting and useful for researchers and developers who deal with HCI design. Your work stands out of the real engineering approach to construction of interface metaphors.
